Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from the Independence Family! As the year comes to a close, we want to send a huge thank you to everyone who stepped aboard and shared the rail with us. Thank you for the laughs, the tight lines, and the unforgettable memories.

Huge thanks to Rich Denio for another epic 10-day charter! Special shoutout to Andrew at Knee Deep Brewery for the brews and G-Ratt Baits for the gear. It was a pleasure fishing with every one of you. Thanks for the memories and the good times. Happy Holidays!

We spent the day working the coast and managed to pick away at some nice yellowtail. It was a bit of a challenge getting our baits past the aggressive bonito and barracuda, but those who made it through were rewarded! Overall, a great day of fishing in beautiful weather.

We traded numbers for size today, bringing in some trophy-grade yellowtail and big white seabass. It was a stellar day of fishing followed by an even better meal—huge thanks to Chef Ed and Chuck for the amazing sushi spread!

To officially conclude our Rice Bowl 10 Day Trip, we managed a few successful cod drifts and pulled up some beautiful lingcod! A massive shoutout goes to Dr. Fred and everyone who made this year's trip possible. Thank you all for the great times and good company!
